Acoustic Shadows

Commissioned by Brückenmusik, this site-specific piece took place within the 440-meter long ultra resonant space of the Deutzer Bridge in Köln Germany in 2018. In three movements: solo alto saxophone, brass sextet and percussion trio. These three performances took place over the course of a week and each was recorded and played back through an 8-channel soundsystem installed throughout the bridge, creating an accumulation of sound that turned into a durational installation.
